About the function Join our team as the Risk and Sustaincapability Lead at the Wise Group. In this newly established position, you will ensure that we operate responsibly, minimise risks, chase opportunities and embrace sustainable practices.??You will be an inspirational leader of the risk, quality, and safety function across the group. Some of your responsibilities will include: » Develop and implement risk management strategies and processes. » Identify opportunities to improve the organisations environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance. » Take an active function in the implementation of the group's sustaincapability strategy and report on progress to key targets. » Regularly report to the Wise Trust Risk Committee on group wide risks and opportunities. » Create an environment of coaching and development to enable your team to thrive. You'll be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with the flexibility to work from both home and the office. We’re seeking a candidate with a deep knowledge of risk management strategies, sustaincapability principles and frameworks and the capability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. An capability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders is essential. A minimum of five years in a risk leadership abilities function and a significant qualification is required. Familiarity with frameworks like ISO 31000, practice in large organisation's and knowledge of for-purpose organisations are advantages.
