Engineering Production WorkerLocation Hutt ValleyWellington Job type Full Time Salary 26 to 28 Category Engineering > Manufacturing » Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing » Lower Hutt, Wellington » Minimum requirements · Basic machine setting skills · Machining skills ie: lathe turning, milling, grinding · Welding - MIG, TIG and Electric ARC · Steel fabrication - guillotine and press brake operation · General steel production and engineering manufacturing experience · Different mechanical skills - someone who is good with their hands and has a strong mechanical aptitude · Production manufacturing - product manufacture and assembly · Interested in learning the different aspects of spring making Key competencies: Physically fit and strong Good communication skills Well presented, enthusiastic and energetic Ability to do assembly and production work Follow company health and safety policy standards The successful candidate will be have a diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a general engineering course and has at least 3 years experience in the workplace.
