Extrusion Machine OperatorLocation Rodney & North ShoreAuckland Job type Full Time Salary 21 to 35 Category Manufacturing/Operations > Machine Operators » Albany loaction » Full time hours » 4 on 4 off roster Extrusion Machine Operator Required - Plastics Industry Our client is one of New Zealand's leading plastics packaging company's which operate both NZ and Australia employing over 1100 people. Due to growth and the introduction of a new machines they are looking at expanding their current team in their Albany site. We are ideally looking for people who have plastics experience ideally within extrusion and/or thermoforming. Duties for the role include:- » Machine operating: start up, run and shut down the extruders » Assist the Setter during start up and job changes » Ensure the products and materials are handled in a way that ensures quality is not affected and contamination is minimised » Packaging and quality checking » Ensuring ALL Health, Safety and Compliance procedures are adhered to ALL of the time To be successful for this role you will need to:- » Have machine operating experience (ideally within the plastics industry) » Be flexible with your work hours as this is a 4 on 4 off roster with days and nights » Have excellent attention to detail » Be used to working long shifts and on your feet most of the day » Have excellent numeracy and communication skills » Undertake and pass our pre-employment drug test If you are interested then please apply on-line today with a CV, alternatively for more information please call Carma on 09 828 1121.
