About our Client
Our client is a registered charity and are governed by a trust board whom provides free legal advice and information to help those who cannot access other legal services. They also provide free legal education, restorative justice services, produces legal information resources and promotes law reform in the interests of its clients.

Looking for
Our client is looking for a Kaiwhakahaere Matua who can develop and identify the best qualities of their staff, and who can lead their bicultural organisation to fulfil its true potential. This person will also build and maintain excellent strategic relationships and networks with legal entities, local organisations within the Community Sector, Government and funder representatives.
About you
To be successful in this role you do not need to have a legal background. We do require a community leader who can promote a shared vision, a person who brings out the best in others, embracing diversity and inclusion. This is your chance to give back to the community, and to help an excellent organisation and staff reach their true potential.
Your background may vary, we are open to this. Ideally you will have experience in;
   » Financial and Risk Management
   » Systems Management
   » Reporting and Contract Management
   » Strategic Planning (including implementation)
A strong awareness of te reo M?ori me ?na tikanga and a sound understanding of the application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi - both in the workplace and the wider community would help your application.
