This leads to a wide variety of challenges in Information technology Security and We are pursuing an Information technology Security Analyst to join our busy Information technology Security team and Information technology Security Programme to help keep the Ministry safe. Our team works closely with both the Infrastructure & Core Software and Digital teams to ensure the Ministry has a secure technical infrastructure. This means you'll have a wide variety of platforms and technologies to lgain to secure. It's a challenging, varied, fast-paced work environment, with on-going professional development. As an Information technology Security Analyst, you will focus on: » The ever-changing threats to our services » Monitoring systems and staff behaviour » Reporting and tracking incidents » Spending time involved in specific projects offering advice and helping the delivery of solutions » Supporting and guiding other security analysts » Technical design review of new solutions » Helping to create new training and educational material for staff » Building strong working relationships across MSD and the Information technology community including the CISO team. This is a hands-on technical function working in a 24×7 environment. The function includes an on-call roster. About you You are an practiced Information technology Security Analyst or Information technology professional looking to develop further in this area. Naturally curious and analytical, you enjoy tackling challenging problems to find solutions.
