This is an instrumental position of leadership abilities which directly impacts the morale and excellence of the team. About the function – Atu mo te mahi The People Leader is responsible for their team of clinicians delivering an exceptional and comprehensive teletriage practice nationwide. Our service users stretch the length and breadth of Aotearoa, so this diverse and busy function is not for the faint hearted! This is a key professional and operational leadership abilities function where you will be responsible for leading the everyday performance and culture of service excellence all over every aspect of your team. Information technology combines exceptional coaching and mentoring with clarity of expectations, to ensure your team delivers upon the key performance indicators and the professional regulatory codes of practice. this function involves working across managerial and clinical tasks as and when required. Information technology is important that you stimulate innovation and identify and implement opportunities for improving quality results for our service users and their whanau. You will need to work flexibly, and be prepared to go the extra mile, to manage the demands of our COVID service lines and support the team through the challenges that a variable COVID workload can bring. About you – Pehea koe We are seeking for Somebody with proven leadership abilities practice who can influence and motivate others in a positive and constructive way, can work effectively with people from a wide variety of different cultures, and who always uses sound judgement to communicate and resolve issues effectively. To carry out this function effectively, you will need the following: » To be a Registered Nurse or Paramedic with a current practicing certificate » At least two years of management practice, ideally providing operational leadership abilities to large teams You will be confidently able to hold appropriate coaching, behaviour and performance conversations with team members, have the capability to navigate, support, follow and lead change management initiatives and be confident with technology. You’ll also have proven capability to lead process and service delivery improvement along with confident in driving service performance through managing against daily, weekly and monthly key performance indicators.
