Job Offer: Broccoli Harvesters:Job description:Broccoli HarvestersPayment: Paid Position ($2.25/crate/person/hour)Job location: Southbridge Region: Christchurch & Canterbury practice: No practice Necessary Contact: 033242902 Listing Added: 23/03/2021 We are currently seeking to fill several functions at our main processing and growing operation located near Southbridge , close to the mouth of the Rakaia River in Canterbury (50km from Christchurch City). The function is for the beginning ASAP until the end of May 2021 . We are seeking for people who are valid to work in New Zealand until the end of May (resident, citizen, work visa, SSE or working holiday ) Remuneration is $2.25 per crate, per, person per hour. If the team harvests 10 crates, that's $22.50/hour. Topped up to $20 if you do not make the crate rate hat day. Five days per week, 9-12 hours per day. Options to work less days. We have a rooms available in a local house for $110/person/week (WIFI, amenities, power, gas, Netflix and flatscreen) , additionally there is a campsite down the road at the Rakia Huts: https://www.selwyn.govt.nz/recreation-And-facilities/parks-And-reserves/cam pgrounds The prosperous candidates must possess the following attributes: ï?§ Be physically fit; ï?§ capability to work well independently and within a team; ï?§ Have attention to detail; ï?§ Reliable transport; ï?§ A highly motivated individual with a positive attitude; ï?§ And flexibility - due to the nature of the industry you must be available to work extended hours and weekends when required.
