The Division of Arts, Law, Psychology, and Social Sciences is a large and dynamic Division that fosters excellence in both our students, and our staff members. The Division also has two research institutes: The National Institute of Demographic and Economic Analysis (NIDEA) and the New Zealand Institute for Security and Crime Science (NZISCS). Ng? k?rero m? te t?ranga – About the function
We have an opportunity for a motivated, highly competent and enthusiastic person to join our team. You will work collaboratively with other Student Advisors who are passionate about supporting the students across the Division.
You will play an important function in providing high quality advice and support in the first instance, to Pacific students to enhance their practice all over their academic journey, whilst ensuring efficient processes are maintained; including compliance with external and University requirements. You will also work with the leadership abilities team to deliver on the Pacific Plan.
Pastoral care, promoting student success, and ensuring student retention for both undergraduate and graduate levels, are key to succeeding in this function.
Ko wai koe? – Who are you?
Ideally, We are seeking for somebody who has a working expertise of university degree regulations and administration procedures.You will show initiative and have great interpersonal, communication and relationships expertise. You will also be familiar with the Microsoft suite of products and have the capability to adapt and lgain new systems.
