You will prepare, season and cook food as well as other kitchen tasks as required. Responsibilities include (but not limited to): » Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality » Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment » Preparing and cooking food » Seasoning food during cooking » Portioning food, placing Information technology on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes » Storing food in temperature controlled facilities » Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements » Follow recipes and instructions carefully. » Clean preparation and service areas daily. » Clean other areas as required. It is essential that you can: » Work under pressure » Take on feedback and work as a team » Be organised and manage your time efficiently » Comply to NZ Food Safety Standards At least 3 years of significant practice is required Our team plays hard but works hard too, and we're looking for proactive & committed people to join our team. Steeped in history and intrigue, this majestic heritage building has been refreshing rascals and reprobates since 1827. function is permanent (but would also consider fixed term) Minimum 30 hours a week starting wage $28 per hour - depending on practice.
