They are one of the reputable commercial builders that have a solid pipeline of work for 2021. Projects span multi residential, industrial, healthcare, mixed use, and complex vertical builds up to $100M. They offer a well-structured working environment allowing growth with the function a mix of office and site located. Working under a Senior QS, you will be assisting in the responsibility for the financial management of a $40M commercial project. Great prospects to step and lead the quantity surveying on the project. Key components of this function involve: » scheduling/estimating » tender preparation and analysis » bills of quantities » cost management » subcontractor management » progress claims and assessing variations As a background, you are an practiced commercial quantity surveyor of at least 5+ years coming from a main contractor with a significant tertiary degree and with larger project exposure. You are practical, have an eye for detail, are adaptable and can confidently contact across a range of stakeholders. The capability to negotiate and understand costs savings is important.
