The prosperous candidate will be assisting this team during the busy period with a range of tasks: » Payroll preparation and processing for large fortnightly payroll » Preparation of standard/manual pay runs, ensuring all calculations are correct » Prepare and post GL entries after each pay run, maintaining mapping and updates » Maintenance of employee master records and support for internal data integrity » Develop and maintain Payroll process maps, provide skills across system changes » Development and maintenance of user guides, payroll guidelines and training » General operational support, back-up administrative and coordination support for P&C queries prosperous Candidates Will Have: » 7-10 years practice in a senior New Zealand Payroll position » End-to-end Payroll practice, with broad knowledge of NZ employment and payroll related legislation » knowledge of accounting practices, Payroll journals and reconciliations » Comprehensive knowledge and practice using SAP; including problem shooting, report writing » practice in SAP is non-negotiable, practice in Spinifex Information technology (desirable) » Intermediate user of MS Office applications We are working to fill this function quickly.
