About our group and team SE&S – Sector Enablement and Support Our teams around the country work closely with the Early Childhood and Schooling sectors, providers, and communities to provide support, skills and resources to help children and young people reach their full potential. We also directly provide Learning Support for around 40,000 children and young people. About this function We have a great opportunity for an practiced early childhood professional to join our Auckland located ECE team. Ministry of Education early childhood staff, administer ECE regulations including, the issuing of licenses and certificates, monitoring of compliance, responding to complaints and providing advice and support to the ECE sector. You will need excellent communication and relationship management skills, be solution s focused, and have the capability to work effectively within a team. About you We are seeking for a team member who has the drive and practice to coordinate work aimed at ensuring every child has the opportunity to participate in high quality early childhood education. You will need a thorough knowledge of early childhood education and the capability to respond rapidly to complex situations. candidates will need to demonstrate the capability to lead and influence the sector, and work within communities to support the focus on enhancing educational results for children. You will also offer the following: » Knowledge of education (ECE services, regulations 2008 ad licensing criteria) » knowledge the diversity of the sector » Be a critical thinker and team player » the capability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tangata whenuatanga Are you ready to make a difference?
