You will also be monitoring contracts in terms of costs, budgets, programme delivery, performance and timeliness. You will need to be able to understand the construction process, the NZ build environment and construction programmes. Pending practice you will also contribute towards strategic planning and setting priorities with programme managers. To be a success in this function you will come from a background within the construction project management sector with practice of at least 8 years worked in client side or consultancy functions, ideally some functions worked in the government sector. You are either a quantity surveying, architecture, construction management or engineering graduate. Most importantly is your communication and stakeholder relationship building expertise with clients. You possess sound organisational expertise, commercial consciousness and capability to drive process and ensure project results are met.
