As a Levy Assessor, you will be responsible for helping improve the accuracy of business customer levies by conducting investigations into their business activities and ensuring they pay the correct levy depending on those business activities. This includes responding to enquiries, providing classification and other technical advice and approving policy changes within a delegated financial authority. What we’re looking for: Above all, We are seeking for an individual who has practice in researching and reviewing information and clearly identifying business-focused solutions. You will have excellent verbal and written communication expertise as this position involves conducting levy classification investigations over the phone and via email. An knowledge of the levy classification framework would be beneficial but not essential. We are particularly looking for the following attributes: » Good knowledge of business structures and financial information » Confidence when dealing with ambiguity » Background in conducting investigations » capability to understand complex information and legislation » Confident, engaging and professional » capability to control a phone conversation » Great eye for detail This is a unique opportunity to join the Levy Classification team and extend yourself as a technical assessor and getting the satisfaction from delivering value to our Business Customers.
