Our client, a leading company in the field, is currently seeking an exceptional Engineering Manager to join their team. This position offers a unique chance to provide engineering and design support to operational projects, tender teams, and the Marina's precast division, while focusing on enhancing innovative, cost-effective, and safe construction solutions. If you possess a strong background in engineering, temporary works design, and have experience with pile design, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: » Provide engineering and design support to operational projects, tender teams, and the Marina's precast division. » Develop and implement innovative and cost-effective construction solutions, ensuring safety and compliance. » Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project specifications and requirements. » Oversee temporary works design activities, ensuring efficiency and adherence to standards. » Utilize your expertise in pile design to enhance project outcomes and resolve technical challenges. » Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging creativity and collaboration among team members. » Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements, incorporating them into project strategies. » Act as a technical advisor, providing guidance and support to project teams as needed. Requirements: » Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering. » CPEng. » Proven experience in engineering management, preferably in the civil construction industry. » Strong background in temporary works design, with exposure to small-scale permanent works design. » Sound knowledge of pile design and its application in construction projects. » Familiarity with relevant engineering software and tools. » Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. » Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. » Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. » Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
