We promote effective regulatory results in three broad systems: anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism, gambling and digital safety. As a risk-located, responsive modern regulator, we have embarked on an ambitious strategic direction aimed at ensuring we deliver community wellbeing through reducing gambling related harms.You will provide specialist technical advisory and policy services to develop, maintain, communicate and enforce standards, rules and related procedures for gaming equipment (including gaming machines, jackpots, cashless systems and random number generators) in line with current legislation and international standards. You will offer: » Proven skills in producing and communicating technical standards. » practice in analysing risks and benefits of policy options and framing recommendations in relation to gaming technology and gaming standards. » The capability to collaborate closely with Gambling Directorate staff, interested stakeholders and Government agencies to achieve shared goals and results. » The capability to communicate with credibility, develop effective relationships and convey complex information to a variety of audiences. » Excellent critical reasoning skills, political knowledge and practice dealing with complex issues. Your knowledge of the application of technical standards, systems and ideally, knowledge of regulatory and compliance functions and purpose will be invaluable.
