Job Opportunity: Resource Worker:HainesAttractJob description:Job Description» $20.55 per hour» Lower Hutt location » Casual opportunity Oranga Tamariki is currently seeking casual Resource Workers for our Lower Hutt Site – to help us provide support services to tamariki and rangatahi and their whanau. About the function – Mo te tunga Key tasks of the function include the following: » Mentor and motivate our tamariki and rangatahi to reach their best potential » Assist our Social Workers on a case-by-case basis, tasks include transporting our tamariki and rangatahi to appointments, activities and schools » Be flexible and willing to meet the needs of our tamariki and rangatahi » Be available for work during school holidays and weekends, if required » Enjoy being part of something interesting and significant » Preferably live locally and can commit to a range of tasks promptly What you will bring – Nga pumanawatanga ou Key requirements of the function include the following: » Holding a clean full NZ driver’s licence » Meeting safety checking and Ministry vetting requirements (e.g. police check) » Spending time with children and young people while quickly building rapport with them » capability to work well under pressure » Relicapability and punctuality » Excellent time management expertise » Well-established communication expertise, both written and oral How to apply – Me pehea te tuku tono Apply online with your CV and covering letter.
