Job Opportunity: Communications and Engagement Advisors – fixed-term:ACC_hainesJob description:Job DescriptionWe’ve got a spot in our team for smart, humble, and results driven communications advisors to support our engagement with our external partners.Three fixed-term contracts until end of June 2022 available One function focused on kaupapa M?ori services Our purpose at ACC is to improve lives every day. Your function will be to help us deliver this purpose, by working with our agile teams to engage with our health partners. You will be supporting the delivery of a range of change initiatives to improve health results for New Zealanders. You will be a generalist who can lend your hand to a full range of communications and marketing activities. This will include developing communications strategies and plans and preparing plain English communications for customers. As these functions will be working with agile project teams, you’ll also be someone who enjoys mucking in with the team to get the work done. Elements of the functions: » Contribute to the design, development and delivery of communications and engagement plans and initiatives » Work with agile project teams to identify communications and engagement needs, issues and implications for customers and recommend appropriate solutions » Ensure plans and initiatives contribute to the improvement of the customer practice, are consistent with ACC’s engagement strategy and brand, and help to build trust and confidence » Generate content for internal and external communications through oral, written, and visual means including writing articles, creating presentations, filming stories and commissioning collateral. Be responsible for end-to-end delivery of various communications project and be able to juggle multiple projects at once » Provide expert communications advice to project teams. » Work effectively with internal and external suppliers to create and deliver effective communications within prescribed budgets What We are seeking from you to be prosperous in the function includes the following: » Tertiary qualification in communications, marketing, or business or significant work practice » practice managing the development and delivery of communications and/or marketing strategies and plans to customer segments » Communications (written and oral) and presentation expertise, using a variety of writing styles and expertise » practice in working with business leaders to identify communication and marketing needs and issues and recommend appropriate solutions » Very good interpersonal, relationship management and networking expertise » Good planning and project management expertise » Strong customer focus » Highly collaborative approach » Flexible and nimble » capability to prioritise tasks and meet several competing deadlines. » practice with agile project management and kaupapa M?ori principles is desirable Working at ACC We know that a diverse and inclusive team helps us meet the needs of our customers, and we welcome candidates from every ethnicity, national origin, gender identity, age, and those with a discapability or who have additional mental health needs.
