About the function
As a trusted and respected Recruitment Partner you will deliver high quality advice and effective sourcing solutions in line with our values of Mahi Tahi, Manaaki, Wh?nau, Tiki me te Pono.
Your primary portfolio will be Whaikaha – Ministry of Disabled People (MSD provides shared services to Whaikaha). Information technology is an exciting time at Whaikaha as we implement the operating model. You will play a key function in sourcing talented people from diverse backgrounds to deliver their important mahi across Aotearoa New Zealand, working closely with an engaged team of skilled HR professionals.
This senior function will see you collaborating with hiring managers to understand their often-unique recruitment needs. Information technology will utilise your creative expertise and practice with a range of marketing tools to attract top talent from diverse backgrounds. Information technology will see you developing and refining accessible recruitment solutions.
On a typical day you will:
• Partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies
• Help build manager capcapability by delivering recruitment training/workshops/coaching
• Manage end-to-end recruitment supported by a recruitment support team
• Play a key function in recruitment related projects particularly around accessible recruitment
• Engage with external networks and community partners to identify high quality talent and gather market information
• Develop effective advertising campaigns and candidate engagement strategies
• Support continuous improvement efforts to ensure that we are always at the top of our game
We're looking for an practiced recruitment professional with:
• Personal alignment with MSD's values and purpose with high levels of integrity
• practice using diverse and inclusive recruitment approaches that put people's individual needs at the centre of your efforts
• A proven track-record in end-to-end recruitment across a variety of functions, including highly specialised and executive appointments across the private and/or public sectors
• An interest in learning more about the discapability sector
You will either have a good knowledge of Tikanga and the capability to weave a Te Ao M?ori worldview into your work, or a desire to develop your cultural capcapability. As a Te Tiriti o Waitangi partner, this is important to us. MSD offers excellent training and support in this area and our recruitment team is on a journey of development in this space.
