Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
We have a great opportunity for a HR Services Consultant to join our dedicated team. Reporting to the HR Services Manager, this position provides efficient and effective transactional HR support to an assigned faculty/service division portfolio. We are seeking for Somebody with a collaborative and engaging working style who can develop partnerships with our diverse HR business group.
The key accountabilities of this function include:
   » Providing HR transactional support for HR processes e.g. parental leave, resignations, employment variations, secondments and other HR transactional support tasks as required
   » Issuing employment agreements and assisting with staff on boarding through the University's preferred system
   » Liaising with Payroll to ensure accuracy of employee data and records
   » Developing and maintaining excellent collaborative working relationships with other HR staff members and the wider university
   » Demonstrating a focus on continuous improvement by actively seeking process efficiencies
   » Providing high levels of customer service and support across all tasks
We are seeking for someone flexible and adaptable as we strive to provide a continually better service. Having a working expertise of a wide variety of policies and processes to support staff and managers would be an advantage.

Qualifications

Nga P?kenga Motuhake | Important expertise
   » Holds a tertiary qualification in a HR related discipline
   » Has previous practice in an administrative HR function.
   » Is proficient in the MS Suite of packages and comfortable using of a range of systems e.g. PeopleSoft/Silk road/Oracle.
