It’s a locally owned industrial electrical business, with 6-8 electricians on the roster. Known for providing quality workmanship and innovative solutions, they work with BOP’s largest industries, kiwifruit, high-tech manufacturing & industrial. The Owner and team are great, they’re a good bunch and enjoy each other’s banter. The guys are compensateed well with a very good base income plus overtime, tool allowance and vehicle. The Job Your skills will be used on projects across all clients and industries from design, fault finding, breakdowns, project management, new installs and maintenance of machine centres and equipment. Depending on your practice and what direction you want to develop in, there is opportunity to gain more exposure across different areas. The key factors include: • Working on your own or with a team – knowledge your time is billed to the clients, so fast, efficient, tidy work is important. Someone whose capable of running projects is even better. • General electrical maintenance • Upgrading and improving machinery • Break downs and fault finding - timely repairs to ensure minimal downtime • Reading schematics and knowledge components • Automation practice is an advantage but not essential The Ideal Electrician: • Be a NZ qualified and Registered Electrician • Have practice in industrial maintenance work • Take pride in your work and go the extra mile to ensure quality workmanship • Be able to work unsupervised, ideally able to run your own jobs and train apprentices • Have a clean full NZ drivers’ licence • Be an all-round good bugger!
