We have a great opportunity for someone to join our team on our 240Ha Dairy farm, 30mins out of Taupo. We love farming! So we want to create an opportunity for more people to join the farming industry and realise that you can farm profitabily, sustainably, effectively - ALL while still having a great work:life balance! We milk just under 600 cows through a 50 bale rotary shed, once a day all season. We run a grass-located farming system and try our best to do all we can to look after our animals, environment and produce great quality milk. We are constantly looking for ways to farm better - so we are learning and developing all the time. This is a great opportunity for someone who is new to the industry, someone looking for a change in their current farming ways, or for someone who wants to lgain all aspects of farming, OR for someone who just want to enjoy farming again! As we are grass-located you will be involved in all parts of farming - milking, fencing, maintenance, animal health, pasture management, calves, mating; you name it! Average hours is 40hrs per week and the roster is 12 days on and 2 days off (this can change slightly during the season. Pay is $22per hour. Accomodation is suited for a single person. Skills:
