This niche contractor is well established with decades of practice delivering many flagship projects across the NZ landscape. They have an energetic working environment where you will get to work on some of the most innovative projects with some of the best people in the industry.
Their Wellington office has a requirement for a site located QS working on a $30M new build project Assume the responsibility the commercial aspects for this project.
The function will include but not be limited to:
   » Variations, progress claims and invoicing
   » Contract administration
   » Negotiating with suppliers and sub-contractors
   » Tender evaluations
   » Site Health and Safety

  Background for this function will involve:
   » 7+ years of quantity surveying practice on commercial projects
   » Tertiary qualified with either a Diploma or degree in quantity surveying
   » Attention to detail with a thorough approach
   » Strong numeracy expertise
   » Supplier negotiation expertise
   » A flexible and co-operative attitude with a availability to learn
   » High level of communication expertise
   » Solid computer-located systems expertise
