On behalf of our client, a tier 1 contractor, we are seeking a Telehandler to assist their busy team. » Do you have your forklift licence (F, OSH & W)? » Do you have experience and a good understanding of slinging loads and working load limit tables? » Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment working as part of a great team? » Do you have a "can-do" attitude and a commitment to quality? » Do you want to work for one of New Zealand's largest Civil Construction companies? If you have answered YES to the above questions, we have the role for you. About the role: Our client is a large Civil Construction company who are currently on the hunt for individuals who are skilled telehandlers. The role is a minimum of 50 hours per week (5 ½ work days) and you must be prepared to work as part of a team, helping with labouring at times. The project will be a minimum of 6-12 months starting ASAP in South Waikato. Although this is a temporary role, future opportunities such as upskilling and on the job training are available for those with the right attitude and enthusiasm. Further benefits include a subsidised canteen and weekly pay, with full PPE gear provided. About you: » Forklift license F & OSH with WTR » You will have excellent communication and time management skills, being able to safely communicate lift operations » You will have a strong health and safety focus. » Valid and Current Site Safe Card » F & W Endorsement on NZ Driver's License » You will have experience in slinging loads correctly, with a good knowledge of hazards and controls related to lifts and lift planning. » You will also understand slinging loads and working load limit tables The successful candidates should have: » Appropriate certification with a minimum of Unit standard 3789 » Telehandler, EWP & Site Safe ticket's required » Heights and Harness To be considered for this great opportunity, please apply online and attach a current CV and any relevant employment related certificates.
