Our Visitor practice team curates and creates wonderful interpretation, signage and wayfinding for our parks to help visitors to understand the history, cultural and botanical significance of our diverse parkland. We are seeking for a new Team Leader for the Visitor practice team, to lead, inspire and motivate our talented Interpretation Designers to provide superior visitor practices in our parks. You will hold a significant degree in Parks and Recreation, Museum Studies, Tourism or a related field and will have already enjoyed at least five years in a visitor practice function in Parks, Museum, Gallery, Library or heritage organisation or attraction. You will hold a high level of competency in significant computer systems, have a strong eye for detail and be process-driven, because this is a very busy team, with multiple projects on at any given time. Additional information: Hours of work - full-time, permanent The income range for this function is approximately $72,422 - $99,225 per annum, depending on the agreement and prosperous candidates expertise and practice Whilst staff working at the Christchurch City Council are not currently required to be vaccinated, candidates need to be aware that should the COVID-19 environment change, functions across the organisation will be assessed, and the requirement to be vaccinated may be reviewed.
