Maintenance/Trade adjunctJob location:Auckland Auckland Central Work Type: Permanent » » » Our client: Our client is set in a leafy suburb just south of the central city, is an easy walk from a Train station, and has free parking onsite if you drive. tasks: • Join a Maintenance & Gardening team, report to a Senior Caretaker and also work with a Maintenance Carpenter • Repair and maintain Campus equipment and significant property (building/houses) across two sites (near) but at predominantly one • These minor repairs relate to facilities, equipment, property and furniture • Tasks include carpentry, painting and general handyperson work • Boiler assistance • Workshop tools and equipment maintenance • Assisting with stock take and sourcing of materials as required • Assist with clean up of tools and workshop • Some supervision tasks relating to Contractors etc, relief tasks • Health & Safety You: • Will have significant handy person practice (commercial or contracting) • You may have a part trade background eg carpenter or plumber even • Will be a natural ‘fix-it’ person • Be self-motivated, fit, friendly and able to work in a really great team culture Offer: • income range neg $60-65,000 • Hours 8am to 4.30pm • There is also an unpaid lunch ½ hour where you are provided a full paid lunch from their onsite Cafeteria! • Wonderful insurance benefits • Fortnightly pay • A very reliable secure employer, offering long term employment with opportunities to transfer/grow in the function even. • Permanent Residency is required as this is a permanent function • Start January 5th 2022 To apply: Please send an updated resume through to Sue Brash by clicking apply now.
