Offer: Yam Harvesting And Packing/grading:Job description:Yam Harvesting And Packing/gradingPayment: Paid Position ($22 plus 8%)Job location: Rakaia Region: Christchurch & Canterbury practice: No practice Necessary Listing Added: 29/03/2022 We are starting the yam season the asecond week of May and have positions available until October/December. We are seeking for phyically strong people to work on our yam harvester (4) and others to work in our packhouse grading yams. We are seeking for people who are reliable, physically fit and keen to work. On the harvester you will need to be focused and fit due to the nature of the yams at the beggining of the season. In the packhouse you will need to be focused. We work Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm. Harvest is weather dependant. You will receive training on your first day, so you don't need to have practice for this job. Our company is located 30 minutes from Ashburton and 45 minutes from Christchurch, we don't offer accommodation or transportation. We grow, harvest and pack our own yams for New Zealand market and are located just out of the Rakaia township. Are you interested in the job?
