Offer: Kiwifruit Picking - Te Puke:Kiwi Ascent LtdJob description:Kiwi Ascent Ltd, Tauranga - Bay-of-Plenty Kiwifruit Picking - Te Puke, Agriculture and Forestry Seasonal jobs inTauranga Bay-of-Plenty New Zealand We are seeking for motivated people to join ourpicking teams located in Te Puke and surrounding areas starting approximatelyMarch 15th. We have a handful of travelers returning from last season and wouldlove to have you join us for the 2023 season. Teams should expect to earn $30-40+/h oncontract rate. (Contract agreement specifies minimum rates so noone is ever paid unfairly). $27/gold bin + holiday pay ($29.16). For those new to picking - kiwifruit are pickedfrom just above head height into a bag hung from theshoulders/back weighing up to 20kg when full. You should be physically fitand comfortable spending the day outdoors and on your feet. Teams are made upof 10-15 pickers who will work together as a group so a good attitude goes along way towards making the practice enjoyable and we do all we can do onour part to help make this happen. We are growers ourselves so you will beworking directly with us on our orchards and our clients orchards. Youwill always be with the same people in the same team with the same machineryetc there is no subcontractor arrangement. Transport and accommodation ishugely valuable though we can help with organising this if needed. Must beentitled to work in NZ.
