   » New full-time fixed term function (2 years) located in Wellington
‘Kotahi an? te kaupapa, ko te oranga o te iwi’ - ?There is only one purpose to our work: the wellness and wellbeing of our people.
The Health Services Team is responsible for Ara Poutama Aotearoa’s overall focus on oranga, inclusive of general health, mental health, addictions, and discapability. Our priority is to provide services that support the advancement of health equity for M?ori. We do this through our strategies, policies and practices. Within prisons we have a multi-disciplinary approach to service provision to ensure we target and meet the needs of the people in our care.
M? te t?nga | About the function
Reporting to the Principal Adviser, the Health Services group are pleased to announce a new opportunity within the team. As Adviser Health Services you will support the day to day business operations of the wider Senior leadership abilities team and supporting them in the advancement of health equity and well being for M?ori.
In this function you will be responsible for managing the process to triage and coordinate reports, correspondence and documents such as Ministerials, Parliamentary Questions, Inspectorate repots, and OIA requests. You will also assist the with delivering on the Health programme of work, including the development of policies, systems and frameworks across Health Services.

To be prosperous for this function We are seeking for evidence of the following expertise, knowledge and practice outlined within your written application:
   » Demonstrate capability to facilitate, analyse and capture a broad range of information from multiple sources.
   » Excellent verbal and written communication expertise; and
   » A proactive and collaborate team player who values manaaki.
   » Demonstrate an knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how Information technology relates to health and wellbeing.
   » Able to demonstrate an knowledge of and commitment to Tikanga M?ori, and have practice operating effectively in Kaupapa M?ori environments.
   » Demonstrates an knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how Information technology relates to health and wellbeing.

The income range for this function is from $66,411 up to $93,756 dependent on expertise and practice.
