The function is located in South Auckland. My client has a strong focus on their team to ensure the environment they work in is positive and thriving. This company are known for their internal promotions and upskilling. About the function: Your function will involve managing a small team as well as looking after the despatch and operations and some financial management. This is a permanent, full-time function, working across both Auckland locations (both in South Auckland). The business has worked all over the lockdown as are an essential service, so provide excellent job security. In this function you will be responsible for the safe and effective operations of the logistics functions including: » Freight, warehousing, and despatch » 3PL management of local, linehaul and warehousing » Developing process improvements » Change management, health, and safety management About you » Minimum of 5 years’ practice in manufacturing or FMCG » The capability to take a hands-on approach » practice with 3PL management » practice with import and export sea freight » practice with the ports of Auckland This position will give you a real sense of purpose and grow your expertiseet.
