The postion is for the role of Trainee Designer, and the successful candidate will be working in a team alongside 3 senior technologists and 2 technicians in new product development. The role is a temporary assignment for the duration of 9 months. This is a great way to gain experience within the food manufacturing industry aswell as learn and develop yoour skills. As this is a temporary assignment, there is some flexibility with the working hours. It is a part time role offering 25 - 30 hours a week, Monday - Friday. The role will entail product testing, shelf-life testing, texture and moisture testing samples and preparation of samples. Responsibilities: » Collaborate with a team to work on new product development. » Conduct product testing, including shelf-life testing, texture, and moisture testing. » Assist in the preparation of samples for various analyses. » Engage in a variety of tasks, contributing to a dynamic work environment. » Communicate effectively with your team Requirements: » A degree in Food Technology or Food Science is preferred. » Strong motivation and eagerness to learn. » Excellent communication and teamwork skills. » An interest in food science » Interest in working in the kitchen space » Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. » Attention to detail and a passion for innovation.
