Our client is a leader in food production and manufacturing. We are seeking a skilled and reliable production worker to join the nightshift team in Lower Hutt. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in production, operating machinery and quality control of all products. This is a temp to perm opportunity. Shift hours are Monday - Thursday, or Tuesday to Friday 5PM - 5AM, total of approx. 48 hours per week. During peak seasons overtime will be avaliable on your rostered days off. Key responsibilities: » Operate and monitor food manufacturing equipment » Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment » Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment » Inspect finished products for quality assurance » Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines To be successful: » Proven and recent experience in food manufacturing and working night shifts » Physically fit » Pass a pre-employment drug test » Willing to upskill All applicants must have the right to live and work in New Zealand, must have a valid work visa.
