Our client brings together various parts of the supply chain to create a balance by redefining the end-to-end cargo flows, consolidating freight and improving connectivity between transport modes and freight hubs.
Being part of the Team as a manager, you will be key in implementing the strategy, inspire, manage and motivate your teams. Taking a realistic operations approach to team leadership and management, you will consider the impact of your actions cross functionally to foster the values.

The purpose of this role is to:
   » Assess Drivers pre-employment and during employment to ensure skills are checked and maintained,
   » To update and train Drivers to ensure all vehicles in the fleet are manned competently and safely.
Core Accountabilities:
   » Pre-employment assessment of potential drivers through practical and written testing, including a written report to the hirer with recommendations
   » Induction and training to ensure all drivers complete and pass the induction process, train drivers on various plant and equipment, in accordance with manufacturers specifications.
   » Training Reporting -Produce weekly reports on weeks training on any driver that have been upskilled onto any equipment or signed off onto new equipment , Log book checks and errors, sites inspected and any updates on the Driver Training Matrix
   » Incidents and Claims
   » Driver Contact
   » Customer care
   » Fleet management - Cooperate with the Fleet Manager in matters relating to technical use of equipment and feedback aboutoperation or required maintenance.
   » Team support

The Requirements
   » Minimum NCEA Level 1, especially English and Mathematics (or equivalent)
   » Completed Train the Trainer or similar course
   » Experience in a trainer role preferred
   » Class 5 Licence required
   » Minimum 10 years Transport Industry experience
   » A proven track record in being part of a successful, fast paced environment that calls for attention to detail, where we work as one.
