this function will provide a sense of purpose, knowing that you are learning new skills that will improve the health and wellbeing of all wh?nau.
   » Immediate start.
   » This is your chance to influence how the COVID-19 story ends and minimise the impact of a future Covid-19 outbreak for M?ori wh?nau.
   » Full-time / part-time, fixed term until June 2022.
   » Seven day roster, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
   » Tele-communication / Tele-health function.
We are a Hauora M?ori Service provider within the Auckland Regional Public Health Service. An knowledge of Te Reo M?ori me ?na tikanga me Te Tiriti O Waitangi would be an advantage.
Would you like the opportunity to be a member of the COVID Response Unit at Auckland Regional Public Health Service? If the following sounds like you we want you!
   » You are a nurse, former nurse, have a health or allied health background or work in the health and discapability sector.
   » You can build rapport and trust, and have good telephone communication skills.
   » You want to be part of the pandemic response, but work in a low-risk setting.
   » You could be a new graduate or Somebody without an Annual Practising Certificate.

About the COVID Response Unit
The COVID Response Unit is Auckland's first line of defence against COVID-19, and responsible for containing the virus and stopping the spread of the virus.
The work done by the unit helps ensure Auckland communities can remain at Covid Alert Level 1.
On any given day CRU staff may be interviewing a new case of COVID-19, contact tracing, symptom checking someone in isolation, arranging wellbeing or cultural support, liaising with public health units around the country, training and up-skilling, or providing advice to the community.
What makes the unit truly special; is its people and its purpose.
In the COVID Response Unit, team work is crucial. You are never alone. We encourage questioning. What you bring matters.
