Want to work in a progressive tourist operation in a beautiful location? Can you start immediately? We are seeking for someone to work in the salmon farm area of our business. You will be required to work outdoors feeding our salmon, gilling and gutting, cleaning nets, recording data and maintaining the farm. Aquaculture practice preferred but not essential as full training will be given. There are fixed-term and permanent positions available. High Country Salmon boasts a cafe and retail outlet floating on a working freshwater salmon farm just outside of Twizel. We grow, process and sell our salmon onsite. With thousands of visitors each month this function is a busy one. You will work with a great team, lgain new expertise, and meet lots of interesting people from all over the world as they stop in to check us out.
