The function You will support the procurement activities by providing quality information, performance data, proactive insights and analysis, and reporting for the organisation's procurement services and across the wider health sector. The procurement team has developed significantly over the last few years, providing critical support to the national stakeholders, and has performed diligently with very high standards to support in times of crisis. You will play an important part in the team to continue to deliver quality information. As the information will be gathered from a range of other sources, you will need practice in data mining and analysis, and be able to produce quality reports and deliverables using modern toolsets (OBIEE/Business Objects/Power BI/Cognos). The reports will enable the organisation to influence and make better procurement decisions and give them valuable insights that will enable them to identify improvements and assess change impacts to achieve benefits realisation and other results. practice Required You will have at least 3-5+ years' practice in procurement, business, or data analysis, ideally, within the public sector or within a large-scale private enterprise that has a significant procurement and supply chain function, which would be advantageous. expertise of procurement processes, policies, and procedures, strong analytical expertise, sound data analysis and insights practice along with strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement expertise, supported by significant tertiary qualifications is sought for this function.
Engagement This is a six-month + contract function, ideally for a proven procurement analyst, with options for being located in a gorgeous Ellerslie/Penrose modern office, and or working in the house options.
