Security agent:EITJob description:Job DescriptionWe have available now a permanent part-time function from 5.30pm to 9pm, Monday to Friday for a Security agent to provide after-hours security of the main campus in Palmerston Road and the Rural Studies unit in Stout Street.You will: » Detect and investigate incidents and report to the appropriate person/s » Patrol and security check all buildings, carry out door and window checking and lock and secure as necessary » Check air conditioning units and lights are switched off Ideally candidates will have had previous practice and employment in a security function. To be prosperous at this function you will need to be: » Diligent, observant and proactive » Able to work well under pressure and deal with difficult people » A confident communicator with a mature and tolerant nature » Adept at working alone or in a team environment » Computer literate A full drivers licence is an essential requirement for this function.
