Permanent part-time (28 hours per week)
Become a key member in the multi-disciplinary palliative care team caring for t?roro and wh?nau in the Otago region.
We are seeking for a community-focussed individual with excellent relationship expertise, who will facilitate links within the Hapori and deliver education across the health and social service sector.
The Kaimanaaki will provide guidance and advice, in a manner that reflects the mana and tika?a of Kai Tahu, to Hospice t?roro and wh?nau, staff and volunteers and the Board. They will support our team to incorporate Tika?a M?ori principles, beliefs and values in the delivery of all our services to ensure they are responsive to the wairua, hinengaro, tinana and wh?nau well-being of our t?roro.
A tertiary qualification in a health profession and practice with Kaupapa M?ori systems/health models and expertise of tika?a M?ori with proficiency/learning in Te Reo M?ori and Te Ao M?ori - whakapapa, iwi, hapu, wh?nau - is essential. Recent and significant practice in the health sector would be highly desirable.
