The function I am working with a wonderful purpose built centre located on the North Shore who are on the look out for a super star teacher to join their team! Licensed for 130 children this centre likes to run on around 110, this adds to the spacious and open feel environment they have within the centre. With a child initiated play learning structure, this centre is seeking a teacher with similar teaching philosphies. Youâll work in an environment with uncompromising quality standards tailored specifically to the children and with child: teacher ratios well above the Ministry of Educationâs requirements. This enables you to provide the highest level of care, interaction and education to the Tamariki. You will be flexible to work on a rostered basis and will be comfortable with both the opening and closing shifts. » Early childhood teaching qualification recognised by the Education Council of Aotearoa NZ » Knowledge and knowledge of current early childhood education theory and practice » Be a team player who has great communication expertise, with parents, staff and children » Can use initiative and is committed to quality practice standards and the principles of Te WhÄriki » Enthusiasm and a strong desire to make a difference to children in their early years while building strong links with their whÄnau and families.
