Our client is seeking experienced, Qualified Industrial Electricians to be responsible for performing skilled electrical work. In the Industrial Electrical role, you will ensure the continued functioning of electrical equipment by its proper installation, maintenance and repair. You must have a high understanding of technical documents such as schematics, that detail job instructions. You must also adhere to the statutory codes that apply to your work. Success in this role will be demonstrated by the continued successful completion of assigned tasks with minimized equipment downtime. Duties and Responsibilities » Work individually or as part of a team to successfully complete projects » Conduct quality assurance measures and inspections » Correctly interpret technical documents for proper execution of assignments » Install, repair and maintain the electrical parts of industrial equipment » Follow safety procedures and adhere to electrical codes » Make decisions based on technical documents » Keep accurate records of electrical work performed and maintain inventory of electrical equipment and supplies » Collaborate with other tradespeople such as engineers, mechanics and technicians, to complete projects and repairs » Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation About You » Fully qualified Electrician, registered with EWRB » Motivated with a hands-on attitude » Strong problem-solving skills » The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines » Excellent communication skills and able to follow instructions » Ability to work unsupervised "As one of the world's largest employers, we believe in talent not labels, and focus on the diverse and unique skills our people bring.
