Dairy adjunct:Job description:Dairy adjunctPayment: Accommodation & Paid ($22hour located off practice )Job location: Oamaru Region: Otago/Queenstown/Wanaka practice: No practice Necessary Listing Added: 15/10/2022 Entry level Position available, no practice required but will be an advantage We are pursuing a motivated and keen Dairy adjunct, required for this season to help in the everyday running of a 200ha Dairy farm located 15km inland from Oamaru. Milking 700 cows in a 60 bale Rotary shed. The right applicant will be part of a 3 person team. We are targeting a person who wants a future in the NZ Dairy industry with an enthusiastic attitude towards Information technology and the opportunities that Information technology provides. We are happy to coach you through what is required and on/off farm progression in encouraged, so you don't necessarily need all the expertise, but rather the right attitude. Responsibilities include milking, dairy shed hygiene, fencing, animal health, checking/monitoring cows, weed control and general farm tasks. All tasks involved will have training provided. For this position you must have a drivers licence, be willing to work a full season and eligible to work here.
