Registered nurses or former nurses are welcome to apply. The Pae Ora team operates within the COVID-19 Response Unit (CRU). The CRU leads the case and contact management for wh?nau residing in T?maki Makaurau. Pae Ora is the M?ori public health response to support wh?nau impacted by Covid. Key responsibilities of M?ori Registered Nurse are to: » Uses clinical and cultural expertise and expertise to care for the needs of wh?nau through case management; contact tracing; symptom checks; and public health management. » Bring a M?ori worldview into the CRU » function model effective engagement with wh?nau » Build trust and strong relationships with wh?nau » Advocate for wh?nau » Identify risks and escalate as appropriate Desired practice and expertise: » Leading with manaakitanga approach to work » Working with wh?nau, hap?, iwi, communities » A background in health, social services, education, kaupapa M?ori organisations or similar » Some expertise in Te Reo M?ori and tikanga » Communication with internal and external stakeholders » capability to work well in a team, be flexible and calm under pressure » Be familiar with MS office and have the capability to lgain new computer applications For details about the function,please refer to the PD: The functions are across a 7 day roster, 5 days a week (8 hours a day).
