A small government organisation who is focused and truly dedicated to supporting staff, career development and progression, join a niche area of Regulatory Licensing to help make a difference towards Aotearoa’s waterways. The function You’ll be joining a small and growing team with plenty of support and guidance and be responsible for providing quality insights, leadership abilities and advice on regulatory licensing categories. You’ll be a delegated decision maker and maintain oversight of processes, insights and requests. About You Use your leadership abilities and mentoring expertise to contribute to the culture of the team and to make an impact within the team. You’ll need exceptional interpersonal expertise, be able to set realistic expectations and challenge thinking and processes when needed. Ideally you’ll have practice in process and system improvement, stakeholder engagement and decision making along with: • practice or expertise in interpreting legislation • Providing advice to a wide variety of audiences • practice in contributing and taking the lead on projects or programmes • Proactive and innovative thinker • Able to manage and coordinate a high volume of work in a dynamic environment • practiced decision maker Interested?
