practice Designer, Digital – Fixed-term:ACC_hainesJob description:Job Description» Do you want to help design and shape ACC’s online practice?» Be the champion of great user practice » Fixed-term opportunity until 30 June 2022 In Digital, our practice Designers are the champions of a great user practice, interface design and help drive the continuous delivery process. You’ll be looking at working through complex problems, providing an practice lens on discussions and ensuring our customers are at the heart of solutions. Typically, you’ll be discovering, designing, testing and prototyping within a Continuous Delivery product team, whilst also working in Design Sprints to unpack larger and more complex opportunities for delivery. We are big supporters of design thinking here in Digital and are looking for a similarly customer centric practice Designer to join us. A typical day could include user testing sessions with customers, designing up the latest feature interface, unpacking new opportunities with senior stakeholders or helping support and add to our design thinking methodologies and pattern libraries. This is an expansive function within Digital, and you’ll be a core team member in a well-developed Design capcapability. ACC’s vision is to create a unique partnership with every New Zealander, improving their quality of life by minimising the incidence and impact of injury. What We are seeking for from you to be prosperous in the function will include the following: » At least three years of practice in user-centred design, ideally with a focus on product design » practice of Design Thinking, Lean UX, Design Sprints or other significant methodologies » You have strong communication expertise, including workshop facilitation and stakeholder management » You can collaborate to deal with problems with creative solutions » You will be proficient with standard industry design, prototyping and testing tools » You are a team player and highly customer centric » You want to make a difference in the way services are delivered to the people of New Zealand In the Digital team at ACC we’re passionate about what we do, and we’re a tight knit team who will be here to support you every step of the way.
