Physiotherapists in learning support work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, with students, their families, educators, schools and community agencies to provide a range of assessments and interventions to meet the physical needs of children and young people in educational settings. An opportunity exists for two permanent full-time Physiotherapists. One position will be located in the Lower Hutt office and one position will be located in the Masterton office. expertise of working in a culturally responsive way is required given our commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi. prosperous Physiotherapist candidates will have: » a degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent » New Zealand Physiotherapy Board registration » a current annual Practicing Certificate » a full New Zealand driver’s licence as travel is a requirement of the function.
