Open 7 days from 9am to 4.30pm. We also cater for functions on request. We’re looking for an practiceD CAFE CHEF to take on our Head Chef function with a minimum of 2 years practice in a similar function. The person We are seeking for will be: * organised, clean, tidy and be able to work alone when necessary and to run a kitchen and up to 3 other kitchen staff during busy times * capable of working in a timely manner, especially when under pressure, while maintaining excellent food quality and high standards of food presentation * expertiseable regarding food safety and be able to maintain a Food Control Plan * have menu planning and costing practice and be able to create interesting and on-trend menus * able to minimize food waste * passionate about the food you cook * able to cater for special functions, including buffets and a la carte * hard working, reliable, punctual and dependable * have a friendly, positive, can do attitude * able to work in a team environment and alone this function includes weekend work and occasional evenings.
