The function The function of Senior Advisor in the Deputy Secretary Office is to provide high-quality advice, recommendations, insights, and information whilst working proactively with key stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for providing advice on papers that come from a variety of select committees, leading big processes including annual reviews and providing mentoring and coaching to the advisor. With a few Principals in the team, you’ll be well supported heading into this function. This is a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity. About you With an knowledge of machinery of government, practice in government sectors, a curious mind, outstanding relationship expertise and the right attitude this is a function you’ll excel in. You will need to have practice as either an Advisor or a Senior Advisor, having ministerial services practice would be an advantage. We’re seeking a candidate who is proactive, positive who can take initiative, is agile and seeks to make improvements to processes.
