Our NZ located team needs a Head of Engineering who has great leadership abilities, strategic and operational expertise, and will be responsible for creating a workplace where we can maintain prosperous results. This is a senior management function, tasked with running a leadership abilities team that is empowered to collectively manage several teams, and with creating a culture where teams work together to deliver our products and our people and platforms are kept healthy to ensure long term success. They are growing professionally in a way that is significant to them and frequently mentored by at least one senior person who shares their profession. » The executive and the wider company are always aware of the top-level details of what your teams are working on and when it's likely to be available for our customers so they can plan their work located on those estimates and commitments. » Your leadership abilities team is attracting, hiring, and retaining people who positively add to the Cogo culture and our capability to reach the Cogo vision. » Your leadership abilities team operates together as a single cohesive unit and is empowered with decision-making capabilities, performing the majority of the operational management work. » The Cogo technology guardrails and guidelines are significant to Cogo's short- and long-term success, and balance optimising time to delivery, security and reducing risk with letting people experiment and find opportunities to make better products faster. » The engineering teams have clarity on the performance of their platforms and are invested in making their platforms perform appropriately.
