They are specialists in delivering the most challenging and complex refurbishments projects, but also new builds. They work with international brands and corporates with sizable commercial premises. They have a clear strategy to continue to take on more projects in this area. While most of their jobs are in the $5M - $7M category, several are higher at $15M. Due to a new project being awarded plus the need to put in place a structure for management and reporting across several projects, they now require a switched on senior project manager to facilitate and co ordinate the delivery of this project plus manage other site and project managers. The function requires a mix of attending PCG meetings, contract admin, programme management, scopes of works, managing site staff,/site team, co ordination and managing projects, financial/monthly reporting. Information technology is a well rounded function, involving hands on leadership abilities and mentoring. As an applicant you will have had practice managing projects within the NZ interiors/fitout/light commercial, ideally tertiary qualified and as well able to manage financial aspects in conjunction with a QS. Your have a reliable employment record and will have accompanying glowing references. You have an eye for detail and can work with and develop efficient systems. Of most importance is your communication and relationship development expertise as well as your capability to lead and drive a team. this function offers a competitive package up to $140K - $160K pending practice.
