We require help on our 500 cow dairy farm 5 minutes from Matamata. The dairy has a 54 bale rotary with automatic cup removers and automatic teat spray units in each bale.

Your tasks will include:
   » milking - including setting up shed and cleaning up dairy once finished,
   » putting up fence reels and all other everyday farm work. 
You must have milking practice and understand how to work on a dairy farm as there will be no training provided. You must also be able and comfortable riding a 2 wheeler motorbike around the farm. 

Start times could be as early as 5am and finish around 6pm, but you won't necessarily be working all the hours in between. 

The Manager has many years practice as a dairy farmer and has a vast amount of expertise in all aspects of dairying to assist the prosperous applicant with information relating to their studies. Start date can be negotiable through November and finishing February

2 bedroom house on farm can be provided if required with some furnishings on negotiation.
